Down the hall, you hear jazz emanating from one of the art studios. Students walk by you, laughing, excited by what they are learning. The smells of gourmet cooking waft through the air and, in the courtyard, you see a fountain sparkling.

At Manchester Bidwell, we have a few simple guiding principles.

Environment shapes behavior: Everything about the physical, emotional and philosophical atmosphere at Manchester Bidwell is purposeful – the way the light fills the rooms, the art on the wall, the friendliness of our staff. We believe that everyone, no matter their background, deserves beauty, respect and the opportunity to learn in a safe space. When provided with these, the underserved will become world-class, productive citizens.
