MCG Youth (MCGY) is a nationally recognized after-school arts education and apprenticeship program and is at no cost to Pittsburgh Public high school students.
Learning through the arts at MCGY connects students with a world of ideas and aspirations for life, higher education and careers. Exhibitions, workshops, artist talks and courses are designed to open the creative potential of the participants while teaching students our core philosophical values in a safe and encouraging environment.
Programming
The after-school Apprenticeship Training Program includes courses in all four
studios — Ceramics, Design Arts, Digital Arts, and Photography. In addition to after-school programming, MCGY offers educational experiences for youth during the school day. Additionally, MCG Youth offers evening courses for adults through our Art After Dark program. Interested in learning more about MCGY?
